"Pretty Kicks" Sneaker Ball

The Delta Iota Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, introduced our community
to the “Pretty Kicks” Sneaker Ball in 2023 in partnership with the Rosa Verde Foundation Incorporated.
The Rosa Verde Foundation is proud to host this unique and vibrant fundraising event aimed at
supporting high school seniors in their pursuit of higher education. The event promises to blend
sophistication with the spirit of good health and wellness, inviting guests to don their finest attire paired
with stylish sneakers. With this event, we aim to raise funds to provide scholarships for deserving high
school seniors, empowering them to pursue their dreams with fewer financial barriers.
 

After much thought and consideration, the Rosa Verde Foundation Board made the difficult decision
to postpone our next Sneaker Ball to 2027 due to circumstances beyond our control. We are committed
to returning even stronger, with more scholarships and greater opportunities for the students we serve.
