

Scholarship Program
Rosa Verde Foundation, Incorporated is committed to helping the youth of Pensacola, FL become their ancestors' wildest dreams through our scholarship program. We give out scholarships each year to youth in the Pensacola area that are exemplary in academics, extracurricular activities, and community service.
The qualifications for the scholarship are as follows:

Acceptance into a university/four-year college (special consideration will be given to students attending a Historically Black College or University, HBCU)

Minimum weighted 3.00 GPA - Vocational applicants must have a 2.60 GPA or higher

Citizenship in the United States or a Resident Alien (Green Card holder)

Residency in either Escambia County or Santa Rosa County, Florida
*Students obtaining a standard high school diploma through Florida Virtual School will also be considered
The application requirements are as follows:

High school transcript and SAT or ACT Score(s)

Essay "Explain why you want to go to college and how you envision the next four/five years will shape your future."

Letter of Recommendation from a high school assistant principal, dean, teacher, or guidance counselor. Florida Virtual School students may submit a letter of recommendation from a community leader.
